Dr. Bowring Presents at POSSCON 2012

Dr. Bowring gave an invited talk at the Palmetto Open Source Software Conference (POSSCON 2012) on March 28.  In his talk, Here we Come, Ready or Not: Undergraduate Software Engineering Practicum in Software Engineering, Dr. Bowring described his teaching philosophy and the CSCI 462 course that requires small teams of students to research and then choose an open-source project that they join as contributing members.  Students gain valuable real-world experience working on software with other developers around the world.
